Thank you for visiting the Columbia Association of Health Underwriters (CAHU) website.

Our national association currently has over 20,000 members nationwide, and we have 150 members in the Columbia area. Our membership consists of agents, brokers, and insurance company representatives, as well as others who work in the health and employee benefits market in other capacities.

The primary purpose of our organization is to support the role of our members in servicing the public's need for affordable health insurance coverage. We achieve this goal by providing our members with educational opportunities, by being involved in the legislative and regulatory process with our state's Department of Insurance, and by participating in community service projects.
